Mission House Remodel

Bear with me, I am going to attempt to post from my new phone. Which I'm still trying to figure out :) All my pictures are on here so I figured if this works it'll save me a step.

Our church has a mission house that they allow missionaries to stay at while their on furlough. About a year or 2 ago we had a bad freeze down here in TX and one of the pipes in the kitchen got a pinhole leak in it which wasn't discovered until recently which created black mold all behind the cabinets. Thus leading to the whole kitchen needing remodeled.

They hired Dan for the job and with him they get me for free to pick all the colors and materials. :) It doesn't look like this app allows me to enter pictures where I want them. Just an album. But included are the befores and afters.

We did the cabinets in a shaker style which I love and consider a classic. Then all the cabinets and trim are painted Alabaster by Sherwin Williams. We had leftover glass tile from another job so we had enough for the back splash and the drawer handles I had bought off Craigslist for a laundry room that never happened. Those were both free and I picked out the counter top, which is laminate! In "rose granite" in a gloss. Paired with Amazing Gray for the walls from Sherwin Williams.
We were able to get all the appliances from cl or for a good deal. The fixtures are from Lowes, love the chandelier and a deal for $79!
Anyways I went by and just quickly styled the kitchen with items they already had there. Dan had his doubts about some of my choices along the way, but we really like the way it turned out.
If you ever want help or a second opinion on colors or your next project let me know and I'd love to help!
