Boy/Girl Rooms

Probably about a month or so ago I had posted a picture of a mood board I had made for Gwen's new room and a friend of mine, Johanna asked if I could help her with her son's room. She will be putting her sweet little daughter Taylor in big brother Jack's room. Basically that's all the info I got, so I have no idea what she is/was looking for and I just came up with 3 different looks keeping in mind the current flooring and wall color.

Gosh, I was just thinking I met Johanna FOREVER ago!! She came to the TC during the many years I lived there, and then we were roomies in Equip together. It's crazy that now were married and we have kids like exactly the same ages. I think Jack is maybe a month older than Gwen and I think she and are due the same day with our girlies, Taylor and Olivia :) I think most everyone knows Jo anyways. She knows like, everyone.

This is just to give people ideas of how you can make spaces work for both sexes without it being "boy or girl". And if nothing else I hope it will get people thinking outside of the box of Babies R Us displays.

Just re-read my post and it sounds like a bunch of rambling, which it is. But I sure don't care ;)

  2. Bookmarking this! Also due with my first girl, 2 weeks after Johanna, and baby Aubrie will be sharing with her two older brothers. I think any of these will work well with what I already have and the paint color we'll be using!
