Garage Sale Finds

Umm seriously though, who doesn't love a garage sale? Look at this AMAZING find today? Dude. Of course I need a new shade but literally you see these in Anthropologie and every Elle Decor magazine. (Sorry about the pics. I was so excited I didn't even want to take the time to edit them.)

This pretty green one is featured in the Elle Decor magazine and I found this beautiful clear one on Anthropologie for $500!!! I'd say I did pretty good!

Plus I picked up this bench-same place. I've never redone a piece of furniture so I thought I'd give it a go and it didn't seem like it could get much simpler than this.

So for all of you I'm taking a vote on what color I should paint it. Powder blue or sunshine yellow. I really don't have a preference. I'm kinda leaning towards the blue I think because it's a "safer" color. I'm recovering the seat in this striped fabric. Honestly because it's the only non-kid fabric I currently have in the house. :) Same with the paint, these are the colors I have left from painting frames for Gwen's birthday party. Use what ya got!

Either color will work fine in the house. I think it'll either go near my entry or eventually in Gwen's new room. Well who am I kidding, knowing me it will be in every part of the house at some point!

Oh and how much did I pay for these beauties? $25 for both. Slam dunk. I know!
