Apartment Makeover: Bedroom Details
The finishing to every room is in the details which tend to get forgotten or overlooked which can take a space from good to complete. Which those who have been to my house know that I might/sometimes go a little overboard with the details. But were not talking about me here. ;)
Bedroom Details
I realized I forgot to show you a frame collage we did in her bedroom. This was a Black Friday special, $10. For interest we filled the frames with a mix of photos and scrapbook paper. The blank frames are her homework to get some photos enlarged.
We found an amazing new product I had never seen before, this is a collapsible ottoman, I know, I've never heard of one either! We didn't think we would be able to afford one, but these were on clearance at Marshalls for $29!
Do you see that cute little rug? So cozy. (Ikea, $10) Inspirational picture $20.
The nightstand. One of my favorite things we did. The book we snagged at Goodwill and the peonies and the frames were a project we did.
We saw a peony arrangement we loved at Home Goods and we figured we could recreate it. 2 peonies from Ikea and a $3 vase from Ross.
The 2 frames above the nightstands were garage sale finds and we decided since we had so much going on with the bedding we didn't want anything to compete but maybe give some warmth.
Ok so this is scrapbook tissue paper, if that makes sense. It's not slick like vellum, but it's thin and sheer like tissue paper and it came 5 in a pack. We layered 2 pieces so it gave the affect of an old book where you could see another page beneath. Love.love.love.
Pretty great, right?
