Shopping Questions

I have the reputation of getting into people's shopping psyche. My husband and a few friends of mine have told me that I have literally changed the way that they shop and that I'm the little voice in their head questioning their purchases. :) These work for shopping for your home to yourself. If you too want to hear my voice in your head here are the questions I ask myself when I'm out tempted by retail goodness.

1. Do you LOVE it

-If you say "it's ok". Put it down.

 

2. Is it exactly what you want

-If you say "oh, well this will work". Walk away.

 

3. Can you stop thinking about it

-If you absolutely love something but just don't know if you should get it. Leave and if you can't stop thinking about it then it needs to be yours

 

4. Is it multi-functional

-Can you use it elsewhere; can it be worn in different ways

 

5. Will this possibly go on sale or could I find it for less

-Is it full price; is it the last one; could I check somewhere online; could I find something similar but for less

 

Next time you're out and struggling with the "should I, shouldn't I's" maybe these questions will help.
