What I Wore
So I have been so behind on everything and my queue of outfits is overflowing! I'm going to have to start doubling up. I know you guys won't mind :) It actually works out really well because it will show different ways to wear the same piece.
A pink lace skirt.
I love lace. My wedding dress was lace, I love the vintage, delicate, classic look of it. But my "thrifty-ness" has not allowed myself to get one, so when I found one at Target for around $15 I went for it.
In the summer when it's "shoot me in the face" hot, I wore it like this with a mint short sleeved cardigan and gold kitten heels.
Mint cardigan, Goodwill- $5
White cami, Old Navy- $5
Pink lace skirt, Target- $15
Kitten heels, Payless- $9
Then a few weeks ago I wore this same skirt but added pattern! For me, mixing patterns isn't really a science. I have to try it on together and if it works, it works.

I paired it with <gasp> a cardigan! (literally my favorite thing to wear with everything) Black patent heels with a rosette on the toe and lace's best friend, pearls. aw.
Houndstooth cardigan, Target- $11
Black tank, idk
Pink lace skirt, Target- $15
Patent flower shoes, Ross- $1.49
Pearls, Premier jewelry- $40
Kid you not about the shoes. Seriously. I thought they were marked wrong, but hey. Sometimes it pays to have big feet. ;)
