In the Sun
I don't know about "y'all" but it is crazy hot down here. These Texas summers can be brutal, and one of the main things I don't love about this state. But if I have to be out in the sun I have totally been dreaming about going back to Barbados where Dan and I went for our honeymoon. This is one of pictures we took there.
Pretend you're there. Just try it, close your eyes and imagine your laying on the beach listening to the ocean with a good looking man (preferably one you know) next to you, a cold beverage and a good book or ipod. Ahhh....
Continue dreaming with me...or maybe you're just sitting here taking in the scenery.
Gosh, we better quit before I become discontent :) Back here on the everyday planet, the girl and I settle for a friends pool. Which is so very delightful here in the 100 degrees plus section of the US.
So while we were swimming the other day I know I can't be the only one, but I think this is the cutest thing when babies come out of the water. Their sweet little prune-y feet.
I'm sure Gwen was like "seriously mom?" I had to. Next we then have my daughter all grown up already having to check her email or something. I kid you not, if you anything done on your iphone ask Gwen. She can totally hook you up.
I hope you all are having a great summer wherever you are, whether you live near/on the beach, the Sahara, wherever it's still 50 degrees or the Swiss alps. Happy Summer! (and remember your sunscreen. I'm having crazy sun spots showing up eek!)
